ONNI, a 17-year-old hopeless romantic from Sotkamo, believes he’s found the love of his life every time someone shows him the slightest interest. Unfortunately, when it comes to approaching his crushes, Onni totally freezes up. With the fear that all the girls will leave Sotkamo after high school, Onni turns to the source that can solve all our problems nowadays: artificial intelligence.  

Onni finds an AI tool online and feeds to it all the romantic movies, songs, and books he can think of. The result is CUPID, an app that will give great love advice and help everyone find a perfect match. As the young people navigate the challenges of love with Cupid’s help, Onni and his friends get to experience what happens when outdated ideas and fictional narratives clash with the reality of modern romance.
